The video almost does Angola justice   Was an awesome weeks riding with Lyndon!

Also check out episode 5, there's some real Angola terrain in there.

I think I know what I'm gonna start planning for when the lockdown is over...

Enjoyed that video . Thumbs up .

GJ, myself and Dries the German were suppose to be going now, but so much happened.

Nice video, good to see Lyndon showing of a bit, the locals will love that.

HSK and I also seriously wanted to go either Northern Namibia again (I think it must be beautiful now after all the rains), or Angola later this year, but at this stage we can only dream :'(

Yip, only dream, as now would have been beautiful up there.

Jose is still doing well.  The biker pub has closed down, he got done in by his partner.  The band still plays every week and he is stall as hospitable as ever - we try to visit him every time we go up.

There also a BIG biker scene in Lubango now.  Last trip we did they got wind of it and gave us a 20 bike escort up Leba pass :ricky:

Berserker and myself also kuiered with Jose in what used to be known as Sa da Bandeira, nowadays called Lubango.

That beautiful and impressive Christo Rei statue had it's nose shot off by Cuban soldiers.

No doubt you guys hit it off - he's a Honda man through and through :thumleft:  He loves his Varadero,

That Christo Rei is something else.  Just seeing and hearing the city below you gives you the sense of the city being a living thing.  Never quite had that feeling anywhere else.
