Ram or Touratech for Quest?

I notice some of you have had problems with your Quest. I haven't, but I use it infrequently on my bike.
Also, I have a lockable Touratech mount which has very "soft suspension" while most of you seem to use the RAM mount.
I'm about to get a RAM mount for another DS bike but am wondering if the vibration and shock resistance is inferior to the Touratech, which has caused your Quest problems?
Any opinions?
