Rear brake calliper

I've noticed my rear brake calliper has some sideways play in it. Is this normal (front one has no movement.) or does this maybe explain my uneven wear on one of the pads. (I know both pads don't wear the same, I have one pad wearing unevenly.) I'll see if I can post a pic of the pads I replaced a few kms ago.
