I noticed that my brake light is not working as expected recently. Some think I'm on the brake the whole time where it fickers back from Jamaka

its all globes on all the time now.

...cars behind me do not see when I use the brake to indicate my speed changing to lower. almost had a sleepy cage up my arse today...

so I check and find the rear brake switch is fubar. Shorts out.
Cables broken on switch, cables now permanently shorting, seems melted plastic, vibration severed copper, probably melting from shorting while breaking copper, switch circuit complete no matter the pressure on switch.

will need to get new one. soon.

Isolated rear brake cable to prevent short for now; so at at least front brake activates brake light to alert those behind of my intention.

Is it normal to lose a rear brake switch (shorting out) on a 990? It was replaced less then 6 months ago.
