Hi Guys.
My rear shock finally gave me the middle finger. (HET HOM SAT GESIT)
It started leaking a while ago and I just did not want to admit the fact that the shock was leaking so I cleaned off the oil and waited for it to start spilling oil again just to be sure.
Yesterday while riding with a pillion I could feel the rear wheel starting to bottom out on a straight tar road with a few minor bumps and this morning riding solo to work it continued. Every time I go over a small bump in the road it feels like I'm driving over a brick at 160km/h.
NOW THE BIG QUESTION.
Do I buy a new one?
Do I buy a secondhand one and take a chance with it not lasting very long?
Do I recon it? I heard some dogs got their shocks reconditioned, question for this will be where and how much?
Do I buy an aftermarket one like Ohlilns or something?
Obviously price will be a big decision factor.
So let your advice start filling up this page.
