A cold and wet start from Riebeek Kasteel.
Riebeeker and I met at his house and after a lekker hot coffee we hit the wet , pot holed road to Goude .
To buy some lekker skaap tjopies from Vaal Baas se Slaghuise.
Then on to muddy dirt roads through Wolsley on on to Ceres for a refuel.
Next stop was Padstal on the R355 and met up with Robin Brown and Kallie who came over Katbakkies from spending the night at Oasis.
We met with Trevor of Hamelshoek Game farm for a good laugh and a beer/
Trevor says , All wilddogs are welcome to go and stay at his Game Farm Hamelshoek at the bottom of Ganaga Pass.
We waited for Vaalbaas , but then pushed on to our destination , Porcupine creek ( Scorpion Rock)
Vaalbaas met us sometime later at the camp, but not before he missed the turn off and binned his HP2 in the Mud,lol
We spent the night there , had a braai and some liquid refreshment.
Then this morning we did the reccie
We got up bright and early and started to ride the night ride route.
It was very muddy in places.
