Ok so this ride is still a month away, but I can't wait.
I'm going to be riding from Reitz to JHB on Sunday 18 November and REALLY don't want to have to slab it the whole way...and I'd rather put toll money in my tank.
There's a railway line that runs from Reitz -> Frankfort -> Villiers -> Balfour -> Heidelberg (GP)
What are the chances of hitting the service roads along that line? I wouldn't do the WHOLE route, but what section would you recommend?
Any other good routes to follow? I've done a search and found a few RRs, but the routes aren't very clear.
