removing 800GS and ADV tires (thread modified) now with tools needed

Now dwags i must confess - ten thumbs okay.  yesterday had a puncture on the big pigs back wheel - fixed that rather quickly as it is tubeless and i just used my 4x4 repair kit to great effect.  BUT on the 800 i understand it runs on tubes.  How do you fix it (what is the best method- what tools do you need).  Lots of questions: how to you change a tyre on the 800 and on the ADV - anybody that can refer me to some quality reading, or offer kindly some advice.  last night foor me again just highligted for me the fact that i need to carefully look at roadside repair issues before we embark on our December and then march trips
