I have an etrex20 that has served me faithfully for riding and hiking for years. Solid little thing.
On a recent ride, I had to get my bearings, at which stage I discovered that my eyesight has deteriorated to the extent that I can't really read the little screen anymore without glasses (which I didn't have with me). I'd been using my phone up until that point, and discovered that the GPS actually needs cellphone signal to work (kinda dof if you ask me.....)
Anyone know of a more modern replacement for this model? Something with a larger screen that operates more with modern tech (TFT screen, zoomable etc?). Needs to be robust like the 20 though for hiking etc.
Any pointers greatly appreciated.
