On Sunday i pulled my trusty THOR offroad helmet off the hook in the garage.Locked the garage and pulled on the helmet only to be attacked by a nest of ants.They had made a nest in there and it was also full of laerve.
Monday came and the helmet got a good clean.
Tuesday the ants still going strong so the cleaner at work gave it a shot of Doom and then soaked it in jik and water overnight.
Thursday still a few ants but now it smells putrid like rotting bait........into the bin.
My question is this.I had an Airoh Aviator which fitted beautifully without goggles.The moment i put goggles on ,the brow of the helmet would force the goggles down ,restricting my nasal passages.I tried /purchased different goggles to no avail.The older mx design /heavy helmets seem to fit better as they have a bigger face area.If any of you had a similar problem please can you let me know which helmets worked for you.
