Riding to Ponta du oura, Mozambique

I'm planning to go to Mozambique for a week. I want to ride to ponta du oura using the boder post at Kosie baai. How sandy is the ride from the border post to ponta du oura? Manageble with a pillion on the bike? Any accommodation you guys can recommend there?
