Ringing in New YEAR ( CAPETOWN)

Part of my tour will see us in Capetown over New-year , and I need to find accommodation , but not sure where to be to ring in the New Year . I would like to tick off Chapmans peak drive , so if I could be in that vicinity, could be nice but boy o boy accommodation can get expensive . 
Please suggest some options for me to consider .
