That time of the year again.
I see Wade leading after the Time Trial, but a long way to go, Obviously chose to go off 3rd this morning behind Alfredo and Teodor. Looks a lot drier this year, and they are expecting high temps.
Only other Saffer I see is Matty Green, lying 18th but early days. I expect a good battle of the 'lighties' (anything but 'lite' with these okes) with Suff Salla the young Israeli. Pity Trav Teasdale couldn't make it through injury, has been having quite a good year so far.
Predictions? Dry conditions puts Wade in the mix, but Bily Bolt having a good year so far (seems like his training with the Hilton boys over lockdown is paying off!), but 'Mini' Letti, Graham and a few others are sure to put their hands up.
Still on my bucket list to go and watch (with Phillip Island).
