According to reports, the Himalayan could be powered either by a 410 cc engine or a 750 cc twin-cylinder engine, both having been developed by the company’s technical center in Chennai which received an investment of INR 500 Cr recently. The investment also sees Royal Enfield ramping its production capacity to 50,000 units/annum next year.
