Currently travelling DOWN UNDER on business and was totally shocked on a visit to the local Triumph dealer here in Perth?
New 1200 Explorer in SA is R 144,500.00
New 1200 Explorer in Oz AU$ 24,500.00 includes free panniers.
Current exchange R 9.47 - AU$ 1.00
Direct conversion from AU$ to ZAR - ZAR 232,015.00
Honestly WTF ! I understand things are relative, but this is ridiculous and daylight robbery!
Almost R 100 k more expensive.
I won't get into the price of beer down here, whole other story.
