SAMSUNG TAB 7 OR SIMILAR FOR TRAVELLING

I am looking for something smaller than my laptop to use when I am on a trip. I basically need the following functions:
- will accept pictures downloaded from my camera
- will accept video from my Go-Pro (to be edited later if the Tablet cannot do it)
- will connect to Internet to keep website updated (text and pics)
- has basic word processing to type reports for upload or copy to website
- will take BaseCamp so I can download routes to my Garmin and upload tracks
- must be able to recharge from the 12V socket or 5V USB socket on my bike

The TAB 7 has been recommended because it also has the phone but I am battling to find out how good it's internet abilities function.

Any experiences with the Samsung or similar unit??? ???
