A Scrambler Ducati rider fitted a BoosterPlug on his bike yesterday. Poor fueling because of Euro 4 regulations makes the bike run iffy in standard trim, especially in the lower half of the rev range.
Here is his feedback: Fitted the plug this morning. Initial impressions are good. Much easier to ride around at lower revs – 3000rpm is now manageable. Initial 1st/2nd gear acceleration feels sharper and it gives a more throaty sound from the Leo Vince slip on. Not a huge reduction in deceleration popping as far as I can tell but it sounds deeper now. Actually don’t mind that at all.
All in all, the engine sounds and feel better now, especially at low speed. I’ll ride a bit more and give you an update in more varied conditions.
A BoosterPlug is a easily installed plug 'n play device that adds 6% petrol under acceleration, deceleration and idle, just when you need it make a good bike run really great. Go to boosterplug.com for more info.
