Seat concepts

I am ordering the KTM 500 seat concepts seat. They have a standard comfort and a standard comfort xl which is a bit wider. Has anyone got the xl or seen or ridden with the xl? It looks a bit odd being so wide but on a long trip rather be comfortable. Thanks in advance.
