I have a TX4 in Medium. It has served me well but I want a new helmet.
Went to a store now and tried a Hornet X2 on, medium felt good. Store chick pushes it up off my head and reckons no, I need a small. To be fair, when I measure my head its between 56 and 57cm. Shoei's small is 55/56cm and their medium is 57/58cm....so I am right in between.
Try the small. It fits, but it's snug and I feel a little pressure at the back of my head. Forehead feels fine though.
I tried the Small and even the Extra Small on the Arai and both felt surprisingly comfortable, considering I've been wearing a Medium for years.
I REALLY want the Shoei because I've heard it's a lot quieter on the highway than the TX4, but I'm worried these pressure points are going to end up with me hating the helmet. Anyone changed from TX4 to X2?
