well it wasnt what i had expected,i thought it would be more sort of the gs challenge,it looked more like a doctors convention.
none the less it was well organised and well supported[but not by the serious offroad crowd]
the offroad ride was about 230 km long,it turned out to be a small group,amazing roads but a very serious accident took place in our group,it totally blew me away,just coming back after a serious accident and then riding with these two as they collided and smashed into rocks.
one guy had a broken pelvis and the other dude a very serious fracture to his wrist and of course countless scrapes and bruises,it was an accident,they were not raceing or showing off.
for me it was terribly sad,they were not brothers,the brother of one was riding right behind them,they were however best friends.
myself and silly b wish them a full recovery and hope they dont hang up their helmets ,it was very scary.i will only post one pic which i have cropped.the reason for my facial expression is the discovery of a totally shattered airoh helmet amongst the wreck,lets keep it on two wheels guys.....................................
