Sleeping matress

Have recently slept extremely lousy on  one of these self inflateable matresses in the veld on a recent trip. Needless to say at my age die lyf wil nie meer so lê nie!  :-\Any suggestions on someting new to replace old matress - names, prices and shops (in Pretoria area)?? Any suggestions on waht to look for, other sleeping experiences please? ???
