So after wrestling with over 7-8 bottles of the stuff in my biking lifetime, I have to admit that I have finally found the right way to do this.

One of them is to remove your wheel, remove your tyre, remove the tube, which can be a LOT easier than trying to do it in between your spokes.

But as in most things in life, simple is best. Hows this for a tip I just figured out.

Use your noggin, go buy a R5 mustard bottle with a squeeze top that is tapered and thin at the end. Crack open yer bottle of sludge, squeeze contents in to mustard bottle, and then fill the tube.

Simple, painless and less messy. Also, the grey colour of sludge wont be mistaken for something edible on yer yellow or red bottle, rendering it safe.
