The planning was great and all had a great time.

A few words of thank you to JMOL for organizing this fantastic event.  It was once again one of the highlights of the year.  Thanks mate (you know what I mean ).

Thanks to all the sponsors, we really appreciated your donations.  :thumleft:
Thank you to all who made the effort to attend in miserable weather, you arrived in numbers and made this a special event.  :thumleft:
To OTR who hosted us, thank you, your food was excellent.  :thumleft:

The rest of the thank you's I will leave for JMOL.

A couple of phodies of the event.  Please feel free to add some of your photos.  :thumleft:

1.  The main man.

Veilig tuis. As my trailer gehak was, het hy nou erens langs die pad gelê.

Lekker naweek. Thanks Jaco en kie.

So n rukkie terug ingeboek in Bloemfontein.

Ek moet nou nader trek :imaposer: :peepwall:

Home safe and sound.

Thanks to the Mayor of Mopani and his and the Thomas River team. Was once again a pleasure to attend. Roll on 2017. Was great to make new acquaintances and rekindle old friendships. Venue getting better and better each year.

Also had lots of wind. Did OTR to Bolo and on to Komga. Then dirt to Kei Mouth for a bite at the Bushpig. Under new management and things looking up there. Well worth the visit. We then slabbed it back from Kei Mouth to EL.

Well done to Ricky, "THE NOT A NEWBIE ANYMORE!" For only having your bike for two weeks and having never been on the dirt before, in my humble opinion, you did really well.

SPOED  :snorting:

PS. Next year I will donate a tin of coffee and 6 pack of long life milk and a packet of sugar. Believe some members wanted coffee in the evening and were frowned upon for taking OTR Coffee. Sorted!

Wag julle aspris tot daar drank in my hand is voor julle kliek...[emoji1]

I'm not able to attend too many bashes, but for me this is my second favourite on the calender, only because it's just a one nighter and not in the Baviaans.
My few pathetic pictures snaps wouldn't be worth posting anyway, so big ups to Mev Vis Arend and all the other photographers.

Baaie dankie Jaco en almal.  :thumleft:

Lyk na 'n lekker saamtrek  :thumleft:

Lyk my JMol is 'n regte operator in die Ooskaap  :deal:

Nou ja , van Dutchman en Kroegie , baie dankie aan die manne met die planne was n lekker kuier....
Tot volgende keer
Dankie  :thumleft:

Do I need to say much?

I don’t think so.  Personally I just want to thank each and every person / group who made the effort to come and join us at Thomas River (https://goo.gl/maps/CGTxguUmchq ).  Thanks to Visarend for the times when we discussed everything during visiting hours while you were in hospital.  Hope all your stuff gets sorted out soon.  Thanks to Spoedvark – as always, no bash is sorted if you are not the MC, and it’s a job you CAN do.  We had 115 people last night for the braai.  Believe me – I have proof.

It rained a lot the week ahead of the get Together and Saturday morning MTN, Vodacom and Cell C lost a  lot of money because of all the whatsups that were flying around that this groups is leaving at that time and the next group is leaving at that time.  All of this just not to get wet – can see we are getting older.

We had various sponsors for the event, namely, and in no specific order:
• CBS Car & Bakkie Spares, EL
• DIY Amalinda (Fireboy)
• Siyata Caltex
• SKG Marketing
• Grant’s Car Wash (1190)
• Kokstad Toyota
• Wagon Wheel Pies – Cathcart
• Wild Coast Petroleum
• BKB Kirkwood
• SA Breweries

I am busy sorting out all the various kiekies I received and took and post them once sorted

Ok so who is going to post pictures of the midnight burn-outs  :peepwall:

I wonder what happened to Paul and Stuart? both non - WD's I think. We'd agreed to ride home together and were putting on helmets but by the time I'd just made a U turn they both disappeared. Rode around the site to look for them and waited about 15 mins out by the tar road but no sign, so I set off alone. Rode in company with various Dawgs all the way back to Grahamstown, then solo from there on in the high wind.

I find the ol' pig though more stable than most bikes in the wind and it didn't cause me any bother.

Paul, Stuart, where'd you guys get to?
