Smelly boots???

How do I cure this problem? I have washed my Tech 7's in Dettol, Handy Andy and a variety of detergents I found lurking under the kitchen sink, a brommer will still not go near them, just lies next to them puking his guts out....
They are nearly dry after 3 days, but the humm remains....
