SOCKS-MX enduro or DS- what are you looking for in a great sock

Hi guys and girls, I am looking at developing a riding sock that suits our riding.
I have a few brands of MX socks that I use for riding MX/Enduro riding and use these for DS riding too.
I have found that these are not what I want in a sock and because I work for a sock factory, I would like to bring out a sock that would be suitable and would suit our needs.
My problems are with the ones I use now:
Socks have no moisture and wicking properties ie Gore Tex
Socks are too short- I prefer them to come over my knee so that my knee guards do not chafe my skin behind my knees.
I need my socks to stay up.
I need toe padding for when I walk in my boots
Heel padding to make it more comfortable.
Pricing on MX socks are very high.


What else would you like on a sock?
