At the moment I'm still 50 -50 split on which panniers setup to use on my 1150 GS. At the mo I'm using the Kaoko soft panniers. But, they are small and also picked up to small tears because of "overloading" on the last years Swazi trip. Saw the Holan alu panniers. They look nice.
I do like low centre of gravity of the hard panniers comparing to the soft panniers. I do not plan to to have an off in the near future but cometh the hour of-cometh the man ... and the alu panniers going to take the knock.
Actually what I'm asking ... what do you prefer: Soft or hard? And by the way .... I did mention it is panniers I'm talking ... You dirty minds >
