My direction in biking is taking a 180 degree turn and unfortunately she has to go.
Kilos: 28800 kms of which the last 14000 were on gravel.
This is what she was designed to do and does it extremely well!
So well that she has never fallen over, ever!
Tyres are Pirelli MT21 Rallycross knobblies. This tyre has the reputation to grip down to the last mm.
The front one needs replacing and a new one has already been bought and will be fitted before delivery.
Back tyre still new.
The front up-side-down SACHS shocks are the best I've had on any bike.
Chain and sprockets replaced 2018. Running an EK 520 gold X-ring.
When they launched this model, it came absolutely bare. You had to fit all the extras just to make it a decent functional bike.
The following was fitted:
SW Motech crashbars
SW Motech Handgaurds
SW Motech bash plate
SW Motech sidestand bigfoot
SW Motech pannier frames with lock-and-load rollers
Mainstand from Husqvarna
Husky small screen
Risers and Protaper handlebar
BMW heated grips
The big indicators replaced with small LED's
Stealth pipes that are anything but Stealth. Fitted DB killers that sorted the noise but didn't affect performance.
Booster plug fitted that ironed out any low rev stalling issues that was a common issue with this model.
Best money I ever spent.
K&N airfilter
..and..laser cut tail plate to carry a Kaoko tailpack. Haven't got the Kaoko anymore but any soft luggage fits.
Headlight cover made by Louis Langenhoven from Bloemfontein
Rigged out with Garmin 660
No it isn't free guys...the price is high at R55k. Basically a R30k bike with R25k extras. There's been a price drop to R49 999 including roadworthy
