If anyone wants to do their own servicing on the tiger 800/1200s you'll need to plug the bike into a computer.
Recently I have don't just that, and I went through 3 cables before I got the right one.
I ended up getting cables from the UK, and it really works like a dream with the free software "tiger tool"
You can reset the service light
Do an ABS break bleed
Adjust the throttle balance
Read and clear any service codes.
I took a chance and bought 2 so I could offset some shipping if they worked, so now I have one cable, tried and tested and confirmed to be working, for sale.
