At bike number 7 my wife decided to put her foot down and I am not allowed to buy another bike (trials bike next).
So, I have to sell one of the bikes to get another bike.
Very sad this one is going up for sale. It was my first proper off-road bike. Bought it brand new from Bavarian in Centurion in July 2011.
June 2012 I bought and fitted the Speedbrain Dakar Kit. Also done by Bavarian.
The Dakar Kit was the last kit for the G450X and is not available anymore.
I have spent a lot of money on the bike and developing the panels (extra) for the bike. This is a very good deal I am going to give you.
Let me explain:
Bike: R79 000
Dakar Kit: R65 000
Panels: R25 000
Bashplate: R4 000
Suspension: R10 000 (Rallye setup)
Sharkfins: R3 500
Big handguards: R1 500
Soft hand grips: R500
Rallye seat (softening): R1 000
Sticker Kit: R1 800
All the other bits and pieces I spent to get the bike 100%: R10 000 - R20 000. Not sure about the correct amount.
I am throwing a couple of extras in:
Front trye - 90% good
Rear tyre - 90% good
Desert Bash plate - New, never used before
Extra fairing panels - New set worth about R7 000
Money spent on the bike: R200 000 - R210 000.
I am selling the bike at R95 000.
Finance is available with BMW Finance.
