It is with bitter sweet feelings that I am posting this Transalp up for sale. Cash flow issues are forcing my hand.
So with that said, the bike has 48417 KM on the clock.( I purchased it with 35 K on the clock)
I have had the bike for about 4 years and have performed the plug, oil and filter changes myself in this period. There are loads of paper work from the previous owner pointing to dealer services etc, but since I have had it, I felt it wasn't a requirement to sent it to the Stealer for work that I could do myself.
Tires are in great condition as per the pics.
The handlebars are stock, but come with the obligatory bar risers..
The screen is an extended touring screen from War Eagles screens with the original still included in the sale.
The top-box came with the bike when I purchased it, but I took it off and only put it back on for the pics.
The stock foot-pegs(included with the screen) were replaced with KLR foot-pegs in order for one not to slip off the budgie perches that come standard...
Front suspension emulators from MP suspension were fitted about 2 years ago.
Mechanically the bike is sound, I have been blessed with no radiator leak that seems to be an issue on some of these models. The bike has been well used but not abused, my skill level doesn't stretch that far, BUT there is some gravel rash where the bike went down in some mud, and the resulting efforts to get it back up ended up scratching some of the paintwork on the top of the tank and the side panels, and then there was the time I dropped it front of the Oasis reception....... so its not in pristine condition, but its solid, comfortable and reliable - the last service was at 46 244 KM and included oil, oil filter & coolant replacement - March 2021
The original spare key for the ignition is available , however, the top-box key had to be re-cut at some point , before I got it, so there is currently on 1 top-box key.
