Got the chance to go for a quick blast in my backyard.
I thought that seeing I was on my own I should stick to the beaten paths BUT as these things sometimes turn out.......... I found an awesome little climb and some supurb view points.
I headed out of Hillcrest and turned off at the Hammersdale offramp then right along to the Inchanga station and turned left along a dirt road. I then jumped on to the pipeline that has just been layed. Nice and snotty in places and some nice little climbs. I then popped across to the Bothas Hill Rd and found some lekker view points over looking the valley.
The clouds were so low over the valley of a thousand hills at one stage that I thought I was surely going to be drenched but luckily got back at about 19h15 dry.
Sorry about the quality of pics......cell only.
Cheers
