hey chaps,
I have a R1200GSA 2015 model registered in 2016. I want to export it to the USA but I am unsure if our model is the same spec as the US model. I know there are regulations regarding emissions and if the bike wasnt made for the US market then it could be impounded at US customs pending modifications to make it pass their emission laws.
Are any of you aware if our model is the same as the US? Or alternatively, do you know where I can get this information?
All I can find is the following:
On SA model
Emission control
Closed-loop 3-way catalytic converter, emission standard EU-4
On USA model
Emission control
Closed-loop 3-way catalytic converter, emission standard EU-3
what this means is beyond me ???
