All SC bikers leaving for the EC Bash on Friday 11 May:
The gathering point will be the petrol station across Virgin Active near the start of Montagu pass.
There will be two departing times.
For those who have taken the day off, the first group will gather at 8am sharp to leave NO LATER than 8:30.
For those who still have to pretend to work on Friday, the second group will gather at 12pm and leave a.s.a.p. after that.
The first group will take gravel over Montagu Pass, Paarde Poort and the Kammanassie Road to Uniondale. After a refuel and restock we will ride to the bash site.
- This ride will have lots of stops. Please keep this in mind and bring a sense of humour - you'll need it!!! :ricky:
- Please bring something to eat en-route. We are NOT planning to stop for lunch in Uniondale at this stage (this might change without any notice whatsoever). We plan to reach the bash site early(ish) to get the best camping spots!!! 8) That said we might get there at the same time as the second group. You never know. All this is set in stone.
- Make sure you have (enough) liquids. We don't want anyone to dehydrate.

- This is not an organized ride and no-one takes responsibility for anyone else. Ons is almal mooi groot. That said, if you join this group, DO NOT LEAVE it without letting the group know. We don't want to go look for anyone. The "you are responsible for the person behind you" rule will be in force. As jy nie weet nie vra voor ons ry. Ons willie sukkelie!
- If you don't know this motley crew of SC Dogs (The Wolf Pack 8)) this ride will be an excellent shake-down trip to determine if you want to camp near us or not. Jupiter is nie verniet op sy senuwees oor ons nie.
- Bring ekstra lag spiere en nog 'n stel drink tanne. Dis EC Bash tyd!!!
The second group will ride with Oom Pad. All above rules also counts for this ride Oom Pad is baie kwaai!
- This group will take a direct route and might even catch up to the jolly group.
