Nee hy het nie, hy het 40 kilos verloor vanjaar en hy was te bang hy spoel stroomaf soos n blaar!!! :imaposer: :salut:

Haha ChrisL.....ek is regtig teleurgesteld dat ek die ride gemis het.....nie eers die vakansie weggegaan nie want wou eers my 1150 regkry maar hy loop darem nou weer mooi....

After leaving Garcia we suddenly hit a wall of heat...hot air that took your breath away.
Refering to the map you will see the Riversdale loop that we tackled next.
At the top of the loop is where the grief started..........
I overheated!!
We stopped at a shady spot and the guys poured 2 litres of cold river water over my head to get me going again.
About 30 kays later on the Route to Jakklesvlei we stopped at a river for me to relax.
It revived me totallyafter lying down and rolling over for 20 minutes

Ai, ai ai . . . I'm riding so little this year. Work is a bit hectic and kids have sport each weekend. (verskonings , verskonings . . )

Well, thanks to this trip and the gentlemen on the trip, I'm smoke free for 10,5 months already.

Thanks to ChrisL and some of the other guys, for words of wisdom and inspiration, that somehow hit home big time that day.
Today I'm a bit thicker (dikker), but for sure a lot healthier.

Hope we can do a ride again this year. :ricky:
