It is no secret that riding the Kaokoland and Damaraland is just easier on a smaller bike. It has also been proven that these areas can be traversed with a bigger bike if you fall into the riding god category. Unfortunately most of us do not fall in that elite class and therefor we indeed ride the smaller bikes.
I have been inundated with inquiries regarding pillion friendly tours, where you guys would be able to bring the plaintiff along for the ride.
We are putting together a fantastic "Best of the South" ride and will post the details here soon.
This ride will be big bike and of course mid size bike friendly, and it promises to take you to the most spectacular places in Southern Namibia.
Please note that you definitely don't have to have a pillion to join.

I have called on my good friends Louis and Nannie (You guys know them as Visarend and Mev Visarend) to assist in setting up the route, because of their superior knowledge of the South.
This will of course be a typical, fully supported tour where we will camp, and as always, all meals and logistics will be supplied.
We are planning this tour for September for now, and we hope to finalize the exact dates and costs soon.
Please pm me if you have any suggestions or questions, or if you want to get your name on the list so long.

Cheers
Hardy
