The road continues through the nicest of klofies and ends at a closed gate 7km later, even though the GPS says that you can get to the N1 through here.

An unidentified (BY GPS) road continues to the right. I almost fell off the bruggie because of heave erosion after the bruggie - a huge hole loomed in the ground.

Reason for asking is that this piece of road, or whats left of it becomes interesting: 5+ water crossings in 500 m, remnants of road only, deep ruts, loose sand...

By 08:30 I was soaked in sweat from head to toe :dousing:.
Going towards the gate was OK, but turning back became a challenge. The terrain is so tough and going is so slow that one can never get up to speed to start standing.
We were on a roll and the road veering off towards the right after the locked gate was not shown on the GPS so I did not bother to continue with it to see where it ended up, but perhaps someone has?
Some feedback please.

Dis Mark66 se wereld daai. Hy ken meeste van die paadjies. Lyk mooi.

Lyk vrek lekker! Vind uit wie se plase aan die anderkant is, miskien kan ons toestemming kry om dit te gebruik. Sal vanaand bietjie google maps vat en kyk hoe hy loop

Looks like a great ride not too happy with so much sand

There are 6 river crossings in 500m - don't fret ;) The road becomes more washed out further on with exposed rock plates, but it is rideable. The turnoff to the right looks like a very adventurous 2-spoor paadjie. It is definitely worth exploring I think. Ideal for a plastic bike recce...

Looks like a nice road to ride  :ricky:
