Not sure if clatter is the right word...but recently...and also not all the time...when I start my 950 especially if the engine is still cold...there is 2-5 seconds of light clatter coming from the motor. The best way I can describe the sound is similar to an older older 1200GS's tappet noise when the motor is also cold when started but it also goes away after a couple of seconds.
It's got 30 000kms on now, and had the gearbox redone recently. I rode it for 1000kms upon which the oil was changed again as well as the filter and the shims was checked as well. Since then I did about 2500kms.
Just wondered if one of you might be able to shed some insight as to why this might be happening and if I should get it checked out?
Thanks
