Hi All, Happy holidays all round.

Rode with my son from Potch to PE the long way round, all good.

Got here and removed the tank to check out the heavy throttle cable movement. Gave the bike a liberal spray with the hose to get rid of the road dust. Re-assembled everything after leaving the bike to dry for a couple of hours. Bike started first prod, ran for a minute and died!
Pump is working because there is a massive stream of fuel when the injectors are disconnected, but when connected there is no mist from the injectors??
I even bridged out the side-stand switch after speaking with Volcker Schroer.
Reading through the many threads on the HES I am suspecting this may be the problem. I stripped it out, cleaned it up but didn't rip the insulation off to check for broken or frayed wires. Everything looks in good nick, no torn insulation etc. Put everything back together and still no start and no pulse at the injectors. I don't have many tools available and no testers. I have a new 911 but still trying to download the software from ultra-slow vodadom!

Am I looking in the right direction?

Wrong time of year to be getting help I know.

Cheers

Steve
