After joining my bud in PTA on Friday evening to see him and his band perform we headed to his house to sleep over and drive back to Rustenburg on Sat morning, or at least that's what I thought So we decided to stop at the Mcdonalds in Woodhill centre for a late night snack and was parked @ the robot of Garsfontein and Devill Bois when out of the blue came these 2 lights towards my direction and the next thing - "Net k@k en hare"  The dude just went airborne and "landed" on us............Resize\Ongeluk - Garsfontein & Devilla bois mureill (1).jpg Took out my whole front end and his:\Users\Public\Pictures\Ongeluk\Resize\Ongeluk - Garsfontein & Devilla bois mureill (5).jpg

Got home and decided that I need to go for a ride (hulle se mos as jy van n perd afval moet jy dedelik weer opklim) My wife said she needed a rest so I hopped onto the KLR and got onto the first piece of dirt I could find

Was really enjoying the ride and just like that all worries disappeared into nothingness. I had a smile on my face again as the sound of machine and nature was tuned into harmony, or at least that was how it felt for ME :thumleft:

Drove past alot game reserves in the Boons and Koster area. There must be in the region of 20+  I told myself that the next ride out I will take pictures of them and post them here, but for now I was just riding :ricky:

Got ontop of this section and was blown away by the view. Magalies in front of me with the Vultures circling above

I dropped down the valley and followed some nice dirt roads toward the mountain. Went through a couple of water crossings and some technical sections. What a stress relieving exercise this turned out to be

I headed up Breedts nek and had a great view of Buffelspoort dam and surrounds :thumleft:

Went down the other side and took the small little pass around Zuurplaat. Bit of sand stretches combined with some technical 2 spoor was thrown into the mix :ricky:

Just about 5km from my house and what a beautiful sight.  :mwink: Stress is now relieved I hope untill i have to deal with the insurance on monday
