Reynard at Scorch has a pair of Supertrapp mufflers that he offered me for a really good price - universal megaphone style, including all the discs and end caps (not pictured). Brand new. Polished stainless steel - so the bracket can be moved, they can be blasted, ceramic coated, whatever.
I think it's this model: https://www.supertrapp.com/product_sections/cat.asp?CatID=36 I don't know what the pipe diameter is.
The timing is all wrong for me financially, so I thought I'd let all you retro project dogs know, in case it'd work for someone (these would run sweet on any of the BMW builds currently going on). He was talking about R3 200 for the pair, or R2 000 each if sold individually. They're about $280 each directly from Supertrapp, so that's R2 450 plus shipping and VAT per pipe.
Had I taken them, I would have chopped and re-joined them as per Wrenchmonkees' W650 in this pic :thumleft:
