Hope all of you guys had a safe trip back home. A HUGE thank to the ones named below:

Aldu - Driving the backup bakkie/ambulance and "cleaning" up along the route

Jondu- Thanks for all the supplies you brought from CV, and your bakkie you sponsored as breakdown and ambulance. Julle Koekenapers is yster!!

Mof -    Sponsoring you trailer for the weekend....it became very very handy.

Subie - Helping me to prep and load all the stuff since Thursday

Klaas @ Brakkie -  Our kosmaker who supplied a great venue and outstanding food

Donford BMW  -    Thanks for sending Phillip on the new WC. Our incidents overshadowed the drags on the pan, but don't forget that this bike is the new one to beat.  (I've sent KTM also an invite for the weekend, but the 1190 sadly didn't make an appearance :-\ )

Occy and Abu - Helping to load all the stuff and cleaning around camp after everyone left.

Bokwa, Hanika and Lisha - Without you guys this weekend would have been impossible!!!  

JC, Mapsource, Hope, Rynet and all the rest who helped during the various incidents.

Oom Giel and Tannie Marietjie @ Verneukpan -  Thanks for the help Saturday evening.

My wife Elzaan - Thanks for all the arrangements you helped me with, as well as staying at home the weekend, looking after our 2 sick toddys while dad was flocking around on his bike.

Strongs to all ones in hospital, hope you are healing fast and recover well.  Mambat, I am deeply sorry that I missed your tremendous show on the pan.

If anyone wants to arrange a Verneukpan trip next year, you are more than welcome.  Its easy to arrange a gathering at one venue for the whole weekend, but the ballgame change a bit if you've got 2 locations and both is out of cellphone reception, rather orginize a whole weekend on the pan, and let everyone bring his own dop and chop.  :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

Baie spyt ek het die trip gemis, maar aan die ander kant ok maar goed so. Wat het met al die manne gebeur. Sparky is beenaf................. wat is dit met die res.

Sterkte met almal wat nie die voorspoed aan hulle kant gehad het nie.  Hoop die nurses is gaaf  en mooi. :thumleft:

Een casualty kan ek oor report. Safaritruck het 7 lelike gebreekte ribs, is in hostpitaal en wag vir chirurg. Maar hy is veiig in sy tuisdorp in die kaap.

'n Blinde draai het hom lelik gevang, bike het net kosmetiese skade, start nog op 'n tikkie.

Ek is veilig tuis, maar tel nie. Ek kon chips en biltong eet terwyl ek ry...

Hinks jou ding! Lekker naweek, kon jou lekker in aksie sien. Daardie skaapjaag skiels van jou het handig geword met die honde! Ek het 'n paar fotos, sal 'n plan maak. (ek het net aksie fotos van agter-osse).

Blinkes is by die huis, dankie Hings vir befokte naweek, laat weet maar wat die bar tab is. Arfar, Mambat, Safari en Sparky, sterkte manne, hoop julle raak gou gesond.

ARFAR and Mambat are both in a lot of pain, but keeping each other company in Upington Hospital.  Mambat thought he had broken his toes and thumb etc  , and punctured a lung as he couldn't breathe properly , but no punctured lung probably bruised windpipe ,his wife says , but some broken bones , which is such a relief , he must be VERY tough .  Both him and ARFAR fell very very very hard, esp Mambat , eish . And Sparky and Safari truck also had hard falls .

I feel very heartsore , seeing 4 injured riding buddies.  Well done Alducor for all the help and of course JC .

Thanks Hingsding for a very well planned weekend  , good food , Bokwa and his team of ladies for the food and bar , Hings excellent routes and venue for friday night , and excellent back-up crew esp Alducor who went 100's of km's out of his way for to take Mambat to Kenhardt  . Big Up to Hings and the back -up team !

Just spoke to Safaritruk, they are keeping him for three days in Okavango Medi-Clinic seven ribs badly broken - he sounds OK

Thanks Rynet for that update. Have to fully agree with you.... in that it is NEVER nice to hear of members of our PACK (WD Family) getting injured in any way.

All the best for the road to recovery to you guys that have lots of "Painfull Bones & Injuries". Heal soon.
