Riding a 2008 model that had its front forks and rear shock sorted out, I've come to realise in what dire need my 1989 model is of a suspension overhaul.
For obvious reasons, both the front and rear have to be done, but I understand from LeCap that the front forks are a problem on account of their age.
I'm desperate to have this done as soon as possible, obviously will pay courier charges if applicable, but need to know whether it's not an option to replace the front forks with newer versions to obviate the age problem?
Opinions are divided on the front forks (and I'm happy to entertain any ideas), but I reckon the rear shock needs to cater for my 85 kg and say, another 80 kg, as the riding is 80% dirt and 20% tar. Is this the norm?
I'd really like to have this done ASAP ...
