Been building some DR 500 during lockdown. I scratched out all the bits i have in the workshop. had 3 frames and 4 motors in various states of disrepair, Some of the casing were smashed from incorrect asssemby of kickstart mechanism, most of the lock nuts especially lh threads had been attacked with hammer and chisels. the one top end rockers and cams and been machined with a file and angle grinder I think, quite trashed. I will start to put pics and report on the stages so far. also have put an advert up for parts hidden away in sheds etc, people finding lots of crap during lockdown cleanups :thumleft:
