Sad day today to find the oil pump has broken on my girlfriends DR250. This has led to a heavily worn headcam and rockers. Most likely needs new cylinder head and oil pump. Looking to sell the bike as is, or for parts. OR if anyone has the parts needed to bring this great bike back to the open road, I would be grateful to hear from them!
The bike was a great runner, and had been used as daily commuter and for the odd weekend trip. Its recently been serviced with new chain and sprockets. Renthal handlebars. Lots of life left in tyres. New piston and rings and clutch in last 1000kms.
Bike has electric start, starts on first push.
The bike seat height is low so ideal for beginner or short riders.
Bike is 1994 with registration papers
