I know this is an old RR from Bommelina, but we had a lekker conversation about this route at the Marico bash this weekend where he told me about this RR.

A while back, I also had a look at this track (from the air - Google Earth) and plotted it. Here you go

I think I will have to change my Dakar to a XR to do this trip.

When you go, try not to do it during the rainy season. When we went through it, I have noticed some flood debris stuck fairly high up in a few trees where the valley gets a bit narrow.
