In 1983, I attended a BMW rally in East London. Besides being at a time of petrol restrictions and a national drought in the area, the highlight of the weekend was the unveiling of a brand new Krauser converted  R100RS in mother of pearl, which some rich farmer had ordered.  It was a beauty to behold.

I wonder what has become of that RS.
