I've been browsing these pages for long enough and thought it was time to come and introduce myself.
My name is Peet. Started working this year in Pretoria. And as it goes, when I started earning a salary, I wanted to treat myself. A nice little Dakar is how I decided to do it. My dad has been riding for years and some of my favorite memories are of me on the back of his BMW. Now we get to ride side by side...
So basically I am a complete novice at the whole biking thing. But I am very keen to start riding and exploring. And seeing some of the trips some of you guys have gone on, I can't wait. You guys seem to know what you are doing when it comes to all things biking.
Oh, and lastly I am so enthusiastic about this whole thing that I even convinced 2 of my mates to buy bikes as well. So, we are actually 3 newbies. Still trying to get them to join here.
