I understand that I may get flakked for even being a member here, but my scenario is as follows...
I ride a bike that most of you would would not consider a part of you. Yamaha WR250f. The thing here is, that I don't ride "competition" as much, and it never was my plan. My enjoyment comes from loading the food/drinks and camera, and hitting a tight and raw trail on a mountain, to reach the top, capture some pics, and enjoy the fresh air, and view...
I could take a whole day, with a riding buddy, and just ride/follow a river, cover a Point A to point B through a large section of Desert, or a forest run. I do this for the enjoyment of smelling wet bark while I ride... etc
Would this qualify as a form of adventure riding? Am I a third wheel on this forum? Are there others with the same purposes?
I am just curious... if my road illegal knobbies makes me an outcast or not ?
