As some may know, I are an injineer, so a noise I dont understand is a Mind F..ck to me, the noise is not particularly noisy, actually can only hear it at tickover in first and second when rolling, it sounds like clutch area but not sure, gonna check it all before I pull the box:
1. no noise at standstill engine running
2. no change in noise with clutch in or out
3. turning rear wheel on stand no driveshaft noises
4. turning front wheel on stand no noises (checking everything)
5. front cover off pulleys tight
6. gonna check tappets tommorrow when cold
7. then gonna pull the drive shaft then the box then the clutch etc....
Vark, I could just ride it........ the GSV is running Strong and settled so maybe just ride and wait :-\ :-\
