Just read about another bike stolen out of the owners garage in the early hours of this morning. What is surprising is that they seem to gain access to the garage easily and then wheel the bike out . no problem . Braking the steering lock is said to be very easy .
This got me thinking , yes if they want it they will take it , but if one cam make it difficult they might go look for easier prey . My bike has the steering locked and an alarm lock on the rear disk . Will add a disk lock to the front wheel as well .
But for my idea I thought up , is to put a cable from the main stand to the front wheel . lock this with a nice pad lock , this then would prevent the bike from being pushed off the main stand . and bar picking it up , not easy to move . Will do it tonight .
